Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — for example, whether you are logged in.
Cookie categories
We group cookies into three categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the platform to function (for example, keeping you logged in and protecting forms against cross-site request forgery). These cannot be switched off and do not require your consent.
- Functional — remember choices you make, such as your preferred language. They are not used for tracking.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use Operatorzz so we can improve the platform. Analytics cookies are only set after you give consent via the cookie banner. They are never set if you decline or ignore the banner.
Cookies Operatorzz sets
The table below lists every cookie Operatorzz sets, its purpose, and how long it remains on your device. Strictly-necessary and functional cookies are set on every visit; analytics cookies are set only after you accept them.
| Cookie name | Set by | Purpose | Expiry | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| authjs.session-token | Auth.js (NextAuth v5) | Stores the signed JWT session token. Required to keep you logged in between page loads. Set as HttpOnly + Secure over HTTPS as __Secure-authjs.session-token. | ~30 days (session expiry) | Strictly necessary |
| authjs.csrf-token | Auth.js (NextAuth v5) | CSRF protection token used to validate form submissions to authentication endpoints. Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks. | Session | Strictly necessary |
| authjs.callback-url | Auth.js (NextAuth v5) | Stores the URL to redirect to after OAuth sign-in completes. Only set during OAuth login flows. | Session | Strictly necessary |
| NEXT_LOCALE | next-intl | Remembers the language you selected (e.g., en, ro, es, fr, de). Used to serve the site in your preferred language on return visits. | 1 year | Functional |
| cookie_consent | Operatorzz | Records that you have responded to the cookie banner so it is not shown again, and stores whether you accepted analytics cookies. Required for us to honour your consent choice. | 1 year | Strictly necessary |
Analytics and third-party cookies
Operatorzz uses privacy-respecting analytics cookies only after you have given consent through the cookie banner. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Apart from the strictly-necessary authentication cookies described above (set by our authentication provider, Auth.js), no third party places cookies on your device through Operatorzz. If this ever changes, this policy will be updated and the new cookies added to the table before they are set.
Your consent and how to withdraw it
You have the right to withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. To withdraw consent:
- Delete the cookie_consent cookie through your browser settings — the cookie banner will reappear on your next visit, letting you make a new choice.
- Or clear all Operatorzz cookies for this site using your browser's cookie management tools (see the links below).
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any analytics processing carried out before withdrawal. Strictly-necessary cookies cannot be declined, as the platform cannot function without them.
Managing cookies in your browser
Strictly-necessary and functional cookies are essential for the platform to work — disabling them through your browser will prevent the site from functioning correctly (for example, you will not be able to log in).
